Andrew Pinkerton is the Chief Operating Officer at Thomvest Asset Management in Toronto. Andrew has broad set of responsibilities across human resources, operations and investments. Prior to his COO role, he focused on investing across a range of asset classes including private technology, real assets, public equities, and public and private credit as a Partner at Thomvest.

Andrew spent over 15 years in private technology investing as a Managing Director at Export Development Canada and a Vice President at GrowthWorks Capital, a Canadian venture capital firm. He also worked in the technology investment banking groups of Credit Suisse First Boston and Alex. Brown & Sons Technology Group in San Francisco and Boston, respectively, with a focus on the software, communications and storage industries.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College and an MBA from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. He and his wife live in Toronto with their three children.
