Amrit Dhillon

Amrit Dhillon is a Senior Associate in Thomvest Asset Management’s Toronto office, focusing primarily on direct investments and allocations to third-party managers. Amrit is responsible for sourcing and executing direct venture, private equity and private credit investments. He also sources and conducts due diligence on third-party managers as part of Thomvest Asset Management’s broader asset allocation.
Prior to joining Thomvest, Amrit was a member of Scotiabank’s Financial Sponsors & Infrastructure Investment Banking group, where he focused on equity and debt financings as well as M&A transactions. Amrit received a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from McMaster University.
