Alex Rohrbach is a Senior Associate at Thomvest Ventures, where he focuses on investment opportunities across real estate & financial technology verticals.

Before joining Thomvest, Alex led marketplace operations at Wonolo, an on-demand staffing platform, and managed consultant teams as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. Notable projects included digital transformations, pricing analytics, and operating model changes. While at McKinsey, Alex worked with Sheryl Sandberg’s LeanIn.Org team on the 2019 Women in the Workplace report, the largest study of the impact of implicit bias on women in corporate America.

Alex grew up in New Jersey and holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Outside of work, Alex sits on the board of the Alliance Française de San Francisco, a center for French education and culture.
